Port of Antwerp-Bruges: logistics and industry

The Port of Antwerp-Bruges brings maritime trade, inland transport and industry together at two Belgian port sites. Containers, general cargo and vehicles move through the port, while companies in and around it provide storage, processing and distribution. In 2025, the port handled approximately 13.6 million TEU, a standard measure of container volume.

The Antwerp port area also hosts Europe's largest integrated chemical cluster. Raw materials arrive, industrial firms process them, and finished goods can move onward by sea or through European transport networks. Belgium can therefore be more than a point of arrival: it can serve as an operational base for reaching customers and partners across Europe, with the port as one link in a wider supply chain.

Aslan Consulting helps companies plan the administrative and commercial steps around their Belgian operations and coordinate practical supply-chain follow-up with the relevant parties. The right route depends on the product, destination and applicable rules.
